The handover of BlogMad.net to Today.com (see post) has gone through and you will start to see the change over the next 24-48 hours.

As we mentioned a couple of days ago, we have taken the decision to close BlogMad.net and put the domain up for sale. We can officially announce that the domain will be taken over by the guys at Today.com
The Today.com Blog Network will be acquiring the BlogMad domain.
Today.com is a network of freelance writers who manage topical blogs featuring their unique voices. The best part is they get paid to do something we all love: blogging! Some of the Today.com bloggers are current members of BlogMad and were the ones who initially suggested BlogMad to Today.com. While you are using up your last credits consider joining those bloggers by applying for a new blog on a topic you are passionate about at Today.com
Sadly after 3 years BlogMad is closing down.
It’s been a fun journey and we will be sad to see everyone go. We would like to thank all our members for their support over the years and assure them that our user database will be deleted once the site shuts down.
If any other blog services are interested in purchasing the domain from us, we are open to negotiation. Please contact us by emailing support@kinetiq.org.
The site will stay open until the 12th of December, so members can use up any credits they may have.

This is some cool news indeed.
WordPress 2.6 Release Candidate 1 is available from wordpress.
This means the imminent launch of 2.6 final is close by and that means a whole new world of blogging.
We are pretty amped about it and even though this blog runs an older version of WP2 we use the cutting edge stuff on some of our own personal blogs.
Vault9.net went PageRank 8 with the last google update.
This is a sign of good things.
